I Love You To The Beach & Back|Irasely & Michael's Wedding| 9.22.2018| Pier Village Long Branch

Irasely and Michael brought me on for a “full wedding plan”. A full wedding plan means I am to organize and coordinate the entire wedding day, from start to finish. Some couples may hire a coordinator for specific wedding details, for example: décor organization, vendor contacts, bridal party coordination, but most couples though, hire a wedding coordinator for a full package of that may take up to months and months of preparation.

When I first met with Irasely and Michael, I was instantly drawn in by their wedding vision and how unbelievably lovely they were to talk to you-I knew that the coordinating process would be just as lovely. The bride envisioned a soft color palette of warm whites, gentle pinks and simple greens but bringing in pops of deep navy blues and burgundy.

*Carismas Tip: it’s always best to start your wedding theme off with a color scheme. It sets the tone for the rest of the wedding vision and will be easier for you to make décor decisions. Pops of color are always the way to go, whether it’s in the florals, centerpieces or even the bridal party accessories. It draws attention to the details throughout your ceremony/reception area!

Both Irasely and Michael are from Puerto Rico and it was important to them to have a warm, close knit welcoming to all their wedding guests. Food, entertainments and memories were the key focus to their special day and I made sure to tie everything the wanted in a perfect little bow. They even their Matron of Honor fly in from Puerto Rico to ensure she would be able to join in on the festivities.

Their ceremony was the ever-beautiful Pier Village in Long Branch, New Jersey. It was my job to ensure a permit for the ceremony along with renting both seating and tent for the area. I had pushed (in a loving way) for this location because I knew how gorgeous their wedding photographs would be, which is exactly what happened. Their photographer utilized every single space to ensure ultimate wedding photos. They posed, adoringly, under the boardwalk, while they strolled along the shoreline, having fun with their bridal party as they ran in the sand and such a stunning ceremonial processional. To see Irasely, Michael their children and friends and family filled with so much joy made my heart truly swell.

They hosted a fantastic reception that offered excellent Italian food, authentic Spanish dancers and an interactive Mirror Me photobooth for everyone. We even had extended their wedding hours to add more time for celebration, which made their day even better. I had made sure that decorations were up and showcased the day before to alleviate any unnecessary wedding day stress and it was one of the best decisions to make.

When I look back on their day, I’m constantly smiling at the thought of how much fun it truly was. The ceremony showed their amazing personalities which is extremely outgoing, fun and intensely loving. Irasely and Michael laughed and cried throughout their ceremony adding such a beautiful vibe to the day. In my eyes, they made their wedding day truly them and truly unique. And that’s really all one can ask for in a wedding.
